The 1995 -2001, Alumni set of The Federal University of Technology Akure, has donated Solar lights to Adeboye and Awosika, male and female hostels respectively to help illuminate the surroundings at night. Speaking at the occasion, President, FUTA Alumni 95-01 set, Mr. Olufemi Fajolu in the company of his executives, thanked the system for molding them into what they have become today. He said it’s indeed a privilege to be able to give back to their Alma Mata. He stated that the purpose or reason behind the donation is not only to lighten up the hostels but also to give the students assurance of hope for a brighter tomorrow. He assured that they will not relent in their effort and will continue to impact in the lives of the students.

While commissioning the project, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Professor Adenike Oladiji thanked the 1995-2001 set for coming once again to do what they know how to do best ‘’GIVING’ ’She stated that no amount of donations is too much as Alumni owns the institution and as such can be equal to giving back to oneself.
