Priscilla Sidiq, a physically challenged fresh student in the Department of Animal Production and Health, Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, has been presented with a wheelchair to ease her movement to lectures and other places within the University environment.
The donor and alumnus of FUTA, Mr. Bunmi Oladunjoye, who was represented by the Vice President of the FUTA Alumni Association, Mrs. Bose Ola Salawu, stated that Priscilla was singled out as an indigent and physically challenged student through the efforts of the Students Affairs Office.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, who was represented by the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor David Olanrewaju Oke at the brief presentation event , thanked the donor and the Alumni Association for their positive interest and kind gesture. He also extended appreciation to the Alumni president, Engr. Adeyemi Bello, for the speedy facilitation of the donation.
